Review Due Friday

In Writers' Workshop, students used their notes from yesterday and sentence starters to write paragraphs within a given text structure, about their topic.

In Readers' Workshop,students worked in partnerships to consider problem and solution when growing ideas about theme in "Spaghetti".

In Math Workshop, students used formulas for perimeter and area to find unknowns.  We also practiced solving word problems and writing their corresponding equations, and rounding to the nearest ten to make reasonable estimates.

In Science, students studied hypothetical scenarios to explore safety practices in science investigations.

Homework:

• Unit 8 Test Review: Due Friday
• Practice multiplication/ division facts (if necessary)
• Read 20 minutes

• Early Dismissal: Friday, May 27
• No School:  Monday, May 30 (Memorial Day)
