Field Trip

On Wednesday, March 30 the 3rd grade will be taking our class field trip to Herr's Potato Chip Factory.  A permission slip with additional information is coming home with students today.   Thank you!

Today students visited each classroom in the school and voted for their favorite Dr. Seuss themed doors to celebrate his birthday.  Ask your child which door was their favorite, and why!

In Math, we have started our unit on fractions.  I'm sending home a double-sided parent note outlining some key concepts we'll be working on.  

Homework:

• Math homework
• Update:  In our "scoreboard game" students voted to now play for homework problems rather than recess minutes.  This means some days your child will come home with 0-3 homework problems crossed out or 0-3 homework problems added.  
• Multiplication Facts: 20 minutes
• Read 20 minutes

• Early Dismissal: This Friday

• Please return permission slip ASAP.
• Unit 5 Assessments:  Signed and returned at your earliest convenience.
• Report card envelopes:  Please return at your earliest convenience
